Hani Kablawi, who replaced Frank Froud as head of BNY Mellon's client management team for Europe in December, now adds Middle East and Africa to his responsibilities. Kablawi, who is currently based in Dubai, will relocate to London, although he will retain his additional role as chairman of the Middle East and Africa region.
Tarek Elrefai, currently regional executive for Egypt and North Africa, will be relocating to Dubai to take over as head of client management for the MEA region. Janet Johnstone, the Dubai-based chief administrative officer for MEA, is named senior executive officer of BNY Mellon's bank branch located in the Dubai International Financial Centre. Elrefai and Johnstone will continue to report to Kablawi.
